INTrust Bank Arena - Wichita
« on: January 17, 2012, 10:47:40 AM »
A group of fans and myself traveled to the Wichita Thunder game on January 6th.  I was glad my GPS took me directly to the parking lot, as my sense of direction gets me turned around in my own driveway.  Lots of eating places and gas stations near by.  I believe it is nestled among the downtown buildings, but I have never been there and it was dark so I wasn't exactly sure where I was.

As for the building itself, it was nice enough with lots of vendor options, clean and all that jazz.

The arena seating was terrible.  The arena was nice, but the seats are so close together that anyone taller than me, and I am about 5'5, would have knee indentations from the seats in front of them.  Leg room for the arena gets an F-.   I sure missed my roomy glass seats at the BOK.

John actually mentioned that to me tonight as we watched our boys get their asses handed to them.
